A little bit of this... a little bit of that

The part of this post is dedicated to my fellow blogger Diana who will feel happy she only had to assemble a bike... :)

Ryan LOVES and is OBSESSED with Rollercoasters... so after watching a video on youtube about them, he decided that would be a great Hannukah present. As I was buying something 'expensive' for Nicole (a $30 violin) I decided to buy the Renegade Rollercoaster for Ryan.
I knew it had 650 pieces... but I didnt know how long that would take to build.
Ok.
On 12/21 I spent 5 hours building this stupid rollercoaster which works like a real rollercoaster :) and I'm so proud of myself coz I almost threw it in the garbage after going to the doctor because of the pain in my back.
So when I read Diana post on LM getting a bike and them having to assemble it I thought how I hated it having bought that for Ryan. It's the best gift he got this Hannukah/Christmas season. You should have seen his face!!!!

Old Shoes
My previous blog was named 'the black shoes monologue' because I had a pair of ugly black sandals that Dina hated and I was always wearing them until I threw them away.

old sneakers
old & new sneakers
I have a hard time throwing shoes. Whatever they are.... and as you can see these are UGLY shoes, but I just get attached to them. The old ones have holes ALL OVER! and they went with me to so many places!!! Those are the ones I used to travel this past 2007 and I just love them.
But it's time to say goodbye to them... They do belong in the garbage.
Good bye my friends.
Good bye my travel companions.
I'll miss you.

Sonograms
Well... As we all know doing stuff in this country is NOT cheap if you don't have insurance.
My sonograms cost $1,233.-
Yes. You read correctly:
ONE THOUSAND
TWO HUNDRED
AND
THIRTY THREE
DOLLARS
and I'm still wondering how on earth I'm gonna pay for that, but oh well... God will provide.

I had 2 sonograms done: pelvic and intravaginal.
The pelvic was fine. I had to drink 32oz of water and my appointment was at 10.30am. I got in at 11.35am. I could barely walk coz my belly hurt so bad. I wanted to pee!!!!! I laid down, the girl did the thing, and then I ran to the bathroom.
When I came back the other sonogram had to take place.
A male doctor came into the room and very gently placed the thingy inside my vagina. Unfortunately, I had a lot of water in my bladder so I had to go pee again.
After that, I came back and a female doctor did the sonogram.
Do they think that because they're women and we get the penis in the vagina it's ok for them to stick that thingy inside, like you're getting a lollypop in your mouth? She was not careful at all, and all the time I was thinking: it's not that I come here for the pleasure of feeling that thingy inside my vagina touching my ovaries, and all that. She could have been more careful coz it hurt, and I told her that. Before she put it inside me I told her that it hurt on the left side.
It was the same as if I hadn't tell her anything. Same thing.
Anyway ... the nurse told me everything looked fine and they were gonna get the report this afternoon, so I could call my doctor tomorrow or on Thursday to know the results. I'm going to the doctor on Friday, so I'll see how that goes.
I'm ready to hear the 'I don't really know what you have' sentence again, but I hope he's better than the other idiots I've been seeing.

CL Posting
When I'm bored and tired of chatting with the people on my buddy list on Y!IM, I post on CL: on STRICTLY PLATONIC of W4M. I have fun and I get to talk to cool people as well as completely idiot guys.
This past Monday I posted something like:
I like guys from the Middle East.
if you're from Israel, Egypt, or around there
write me.
LOL! You have to love me for being so silly :)
I got a LOT of responses and I ended up chatting with 2 very cool guys.
#1 is Israeli, 34, really cute
#2 is Egyptian, 29, nice to chat with, very interesting life
I got tons of responses from idiots... but I had a lot of fun reading all they have to tell me.
Am I gonna meet them IRL?
IDK.
We'll see how the conversations develop during the rest of the week.
I'll keep you posted. :)
