Food and more food...
As promised, here is my Lasagna.
I cheated, though. The original recipe had veggie meat but I didn't have that ingredient and I didn't want to go buy it (our closest store is 20 minutes away) so I used 1/4 lb ground meat. It came out delicious, and we were supposed to eat only 1 serving.
Well... we cheated there as well. We had 2!!!!
Left overs went to the freezer for next week. :)
Tonight -and following our determination to eat veggies- we had Tortellini with grilled veggies.
They're not really grilled as I don't have a grill. I just cooked them all together in a pan and the result was GREAT -as always. As soon as Gary sees me with the camera he asked me: why are you always taking pictures of the food we eat?
Well... for those of you also wondering the same, my mother always ask me what I cooked for dinner, so this is a way to share my cooking experiences with her. I've got some good recipes for Hummus and Pita Bread - that I'll try when I'm back from NY.
The above picture shows Gary retouching one of the drawings he made for the 'project'. He's so talented!!!! And it showed us we can work together in different tasks, I'm VERY stubborn in how I want things to be done, and thru the whole process we had fun and enjoy working with each other.
Y'all have a wonderful weekend, Happy 4th of July to the ones in the States.... happy 'sweet' week in Argentina and I'll see you next Monday from New York again (I'll be there for a week taking care of the twins while the parents are out of town).
