Respect & Love

Why is it that parents find it so hard to discipline their children
when the children disrespect them?

This morning I had it with Ryan.
He's SO disrespectful with his mom and she doesn't talk to him the way
she should.
For goodness' sake!!! She is the adult and she shouldn't let him push
her around the way he does.

I know this woman who's a wife/mother.
Her son used to get up at 645am to go to work. He was in his early
20s. She'd get up, make breakfast for him and silently accompany him
during the 5 minutes he had his breakfast.
She'd do that for her husband too.
It wasn't just a way of showing them she cared. It was a way to tell
them the loved them as well.

I know I'm just married and I have all the 'newlywed' symptoms, but it
would b so cool to have breakfast with G, to sit with him and have
breakfast together before he goes to work.
Isn't that also making love????

I just don't understand some women and it really bothers me how
unloving some people get with age.
