Mother's Day

My mom & I - March '04 - Texas

Today it's Mother's Day in Argentina.

I'm more than happy to have the mother I have. She's been a great example in my life, she's my friend, the only person I can go tell ALL my problems to. I live 10,000 miles away from her, but I cherish all the memories and my relationship with her is amazing.
My mom and I always talked how parents give their kids wings to fly.
I know she didnt want me to fly so far away...
I know she didnt want her little girl to grow up and go into the world and face so many things.
She would have liked her daughter to be someone else, may be.
However, my mom loves me the way I am. She accepts the paths I've chosen in this life. She loves the people I love -even if she's not ok with some of them...
She's proud of her daughter... coz even though I didn't become a doctor, a lawyer, or someone 'important' -to some people's standards- I'm her daughter.
A daughter that remembers her bday...
A daughter that calls her just to say Hi!!!!
A daughter that cares about things that happen to her...


God gave me a wonderful mother.
She's an amazing woman... and I'm more than happy and proud to be her daughter.

Mom,

I love you with all my heart.

You're all I needed as a mother.
