Patrick & Elizabeth are our new 'chinese' turtles. I went to NYC on Sunday with Andrea (or was it Saturday?) and after walking thru Little Italy and Chinatown, we bought a couple of 'tortos' - that's how the chinese lady was calling them.

All the way from NYC to LI the turtles names were 'Sasha & Natasha' (as ya'll know I have an obsesion with the name Sasha -I'd better have a girl someday...) but when Nicole and Ryan saw them and I asked them to name them, Nicole immediately chose the name Elizabeth. IDK Y coz we dont know anybody named Elizabeth.

Wait. Don't call the turtle Lizzie. Her name is Elizabeth.

Ryan chose Teddy (after one of his friends....) but I told him that name wasn't allowed in this house. He's a sweet boy, T, but I just dont want to hear that name in the turtles.

So then he chose Patrick.

No. They don't watch Spongebob so they don't know that Patrick is a character on Spongebob.
