Allen invited me for dinner last night and we were watching this show on MSNBC called 'The Big Idea'. The guy was talking how you can start a million dollar company with only $500. They presented several people, and one of them was Blake Mycoskie who 'designed' these shoes called TOMS - aka alpargatas.
I was watching the preview of the section and I told Allen: OMG! those are alpargatas!
And i felt like... so INFURIATED coz it's like now he's the designer of something that we -argentineans- wore for so many years....
FUCK!!!!!
When the Americans really have a good idea for something, let me know. Even the iPod is a copy of something some chinese guys did in China years ago.

Guarda que acá hay alpargatas que salen 10 dólares o más.
Las de suela de yute y cuero de carpincho andan en eso.
Pero esas de lona y suela de goma, son las más baratas.
Y bueno, en los negocios siempre es así. Un poco de suerte y un poco de ingenio.
