Harry Potter, Chuck & Larry and Freedom Writers
Early in my life I decided not to read or watch stuff that's against my religion. Yeah, i'm sure we've all said that at a certain point in my life, but i've been pretty loyal to it, with the HUGE exception of TLOTR.
For some reason I dont sing the names of God is non-religious songs and though i say, OMG!!! the G implies Goodness...
I curse you know, whatever, but I try -very hard btw- not to use religious related cursing.
I've seen 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' and 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azcabab'. After that, I haven't seen any other movie in the HP series.
Have I read the books?
Nope.
But i was curious to see how the book ended. Did he get killed? Does Voldermont die?
I went to Walmart and I saw the book. If reading a 300 pages book takes me about a year, that kind of book would take me forever! So i went all the way to the back and read how it ends. I didnt understand a thing, but i was curious...
So i came home and i looked online, and believe it or not... Harry doesnt die, Hermione and Ron get married, Harry marries Ron's sister and Voldermont dies. WOW... the end.
there is a website that tells you EVERYTHING about the book- describing everything that goes on. GOod for me. No need to read it. I never read a HP book and i will never read one. And for the record, I won't watch any other movie either.
Chuck & Larry is a new movie that came out this weekend. Really funny!!! I had a good time watching it. I like Adam Sandler... and KEvin James is so funny!!!
'Freedom Writers' is a movie with Hilary Swank- i just saw it this morning. OMG. what a great movie!!! IDK why i liked these type of movies, but it was AWESOME!
For those who've seen 'Dangerous Minds' with Michelle Pfeiffer - the movie is kinda like that one, but not exactly the same. This one (FW) is based on a true story... and it's really good.
I would suck at being a movie review person... like one of my penfriends years ago who always wrote: 'I saw '10 things i hate about you'- good movie. very fun. 'braveheart' was good- too much blood. 'mission impossible' is ok. tom cruise is cute.' guess what? i'm not writing with that person anymore.
Anyway...
It's raining - again- in NY and I dont really want to work. Dont have many things to do until N&R come back from summer camp.
Happy Day!
Noe
