Omg! You ruined my wedding!!!

Back in 2001 I met a guy online. We went on 2 dates and nothing ever happened between us. Our first date was dinner and a movie where we both talked about failed relationships and our deepest most dark secrets (what a way to go on a first date...)

Let's fast forward 3 years and this guy and I became great friends. While texting and chatting we became best friends and every time I went to California I made time to go and hang out with him. He was my best friend!! I didn't care if he was dating or no coz we were always friends.

Anyway... I met his fiancé and she seemed really nice. We talked about this and that and she was VERY nice.

Few months later I get her invitation to attend her wedding. The wedding happened June 2006- I'm living in New York.

I flew all my way to California to attend their wedding - that's really another post - and I had a great time! I was wearing a very sexy black dress that for some unknown reason tore on my left side, sexy black shoes and I had my hair loose with some pearls. I had asked the guy I was seeing at that time to go with me, so I really wanted to impress him at how cute I could dress for a wedding (What an idiot... I know!)

I'm talking to this guy today and he mentioned something that was new to me. He said: T (his ex wife... Yup, now it's his EX) told me your presence at the wedding ruined her day.
I was like: WHAT????????????
Was she high on something?

It was pretty funny to learn that- that she got threatened by me @ her wedding. I didn't even date the guy! We never shared a kiss or anything! We were only friends!!!!

Oh well... Some realtionships are not meant to be forever... They divorced 6 months later and this guy and I are still friends and I love how Gary cares about him even though he doesn't know him IRL.
