I can also cook cakes!

I was reading a blog today that led me to another blog and then another blog and then suddenly I found myself looking at this blog for HOURS!

I loved the way they do the cupcakes, and how inventive/creative they're!!! I loved also the wedding 'cupcakes' and it was just awesome to look at this blog.

Anyway, I had decided to make a cake for Gary for his bday. I don't know whether I'll see him tomorrow or not, but I just thought if I DO get to see him, I want to surprise him with the cake. So I got my recipe book, went food shopping for the ingredients I didn't have, and voila! Here is my 'cute' cake - as my BFF put it.

It's made on 3 layers and the inside has dulce de leche, sliced peaches and a typical argentinean cream (that tasted really good... I would have eaten it with the spoon!!!). The round things you see on top are called Bon-o-Bon and are DELICIOUS! One big pregnancy craving! :)

It's not like WOW- what a cake! But it was made with all my love... even though I have no clue whether I'll get to see Gary or not...
