Fair Day

As you know Gary and I eat. Yup.

We eat... A LOT!!! :)

This past weekend we decided to eat some empanadas and we also bought a little tool to make the ends on the empanadas. However, it didn't work out and we ended up doing the 'repulgue' ourselves. I don't have pictures of Gary actually making the empanadas but we had a lot of fun and these are out mini empanadas which were DELICIOUS!

Since July 24th our neighboring town had the Fair so we decided to go yesterday. Unfortunately, we got there around the time everything was getting closed, but it was a good opportunity to see people, hear people sing out of tune (poor those bands!) and see some 'art' stuff.

These pictures are from a game called 'Horse Pull'.

Gary and I didn't know how much those blocks weight, but it looks like A TON!!!

The idea is to get the horses to move them. They have 3 opportunities and people measure how far they move them. Very stupid... but entertaining.

Gary decided he didn't want to look like a Mexican anymore and shaved his face :)

FIREWORKS!!!!!

I've tried FOR YEARS to take decent photos of fireworks,

but always with no luck.

Finally, last night I was able to get some good ones...

(except this one) LOL

So this was out peaceful Sunday... :)
