A lil taste of Greece :)
I wasn't gonna go to Texas.
I had decided it wasn't really worth it, and I didn't have $ to buy a ticket, rent a car, and so on to spend just 2 days in TX.

Well...
On Friday morning I realized it was gonna be a great weekend as for the 1st time in a long time my whole group of friends was gonna be together. Some of our other friends were coming from NM and it was me, just me, who was gonna be missing.
Besides, I was in charge of providing some music (which never arrived to Sonia's house) and a very important Powerpoint Presentation... which never arrived either.
So after much consideration and thought (and my boss persuation about going to TX for the wknd)... I decided to try to find a ticket - the last minute package deal.
I saved A LOT doing this, and I got a great deal going to TX on Sat morning, renting a car for 2 days and coming back on Monday morning.
As things always go wrong in my life, my car didn't work on Sat morning so I had to get a cab (which is so expensive!!!) to take me to LGA but at 3pm I was in DFW and I met my friens which were all surprised I was there. I kept telling them: It's not me... it's just a product of your imagination... LOL

Esteban, Noe, Caro
On Sunday afternoon we had Caro&Esteban's bachelorette/bachelor's party.
They're heading to Santorini, Greece to get married there so the theme was Greece. Eduardo painted the window you see in the picture -which looked extremely real if you were closer to it- and Caro's mom made the dresses they're wearing. I was in charge of many things, but mostly it was my job to keep all the games and skits in place, I knew who was in charge of sounds, videos, etc. Sonia was the 'director' and I was like her assistant who made sure everyone did what they were supposed to do. :)
We had a lot of fun and I'm extremely happy I got to be there, to celebrate them and to celebrate WITH them. They were so happy to see me and I was so happy to be there at this special time. None of us (their friends) is going to Greece, but we made sure they had a great 'Greek' wedding. It was fun, it was romantic, it was sweet and most importantly, it was made with love to them.

Noe, Estela, Mariela, Lorena, Sonia, Caro,
Milkis, Esteban, Kevin (holding Milca's hand), Rene, Egui, Edu
... and in the end, after everyone left, the 12 of us took one last picture together to remind ourselves that friendship doesnt know language, nationality, age and distance... :)
Thank you guys for such a wonderful weekend!!!
I already miss you... and I have you always in my heart!
