'the soundtrack of my life'

When you become a fan member in the Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi you meet tons of women, very crazy fans, who've been around since 1982. They know EVERYTHING about the band, and the members, and the managers, and so on. They're totally into the band and their songs are the soundtrack of their lives.

...'I remember what I was doing the day SWW came out'...
...'It was my wedding anniversary and we played LOAP'...
...'I met you on the WWN tour when they played WWN and we've been friends ever since!'

Songs are part of our lives and we create a soundtrack...
I hear 'LOAP' and all the concerts with D come to my mind, and I laugh and I wish I could go back in time and live them again!
I hear 'IML' and I think of Cindy and Marianne and our tour thru NJ.
'BM' makes me think about Gary... when he didn't even have a CLUE who Bon Jovi was.
There's also the BSB, Arjona, Lerner, Calamaro... tons of singers/bands.

My friend Rach always wrote me using songs to identify her feelings and what was going on in her life. I did the same and two songs helped me a lot thru a tough moment in my life. They weren't Bon Jovi songs, but they did a good job helping me deal what what's going on at that time.
I hear those songs now and it's like: I DID IT! I GOT THRU!

There is one song I loved for a long time.
The lyrics say a lot about everything...

I stopped listening to that song about a year ago, and this past week my iTunes seemed to be playing it over and over again.

Tonight, it gave me the chills...

... and that was it. I erased it.
