Even in the rain ... :)

Javi is one of my dearest friends.
I met him in TX few years ago, and over these past months we’ve tried to get together. We couldn’t before as there was always something going on… and this weekend seemed to be the same thing.

I went to sleep on Friday night and around 2am I woke up all stuffed up and looking like a ghost. After a powerful dose of Tylenol cold/flu I was able to meet Javi on Sunday and we went to the city.

What a wonderful time to meet with such a great friend!!!
We had time to gossip and walk around Manhattan.

We went to the ESB – though I’ve been there before it’s always awesome to go again and see the whole city from the observatory. I got surprised at how everything changed, and I was happy to share this memory with him.

The city wasn’t as crowded as usual, and we had a wonderful time together. I showed him GCS and we went on the Subway!!! He’d been here few times but never ridden the subway. We went from 5th Ave and 57th St to Union Square (14th St and 7th Ave.)
It started to rain a little bit while we were up in the observatory, but all in all we had a great time!
