Fall Update

Manorhaven Beach Igfrid

This past weekend I found myself really busy driving to Boston to pick up Gary as he got stuck in the bus station :(
As soon as he got there he saw 11,000 people waiting for the bus to come down to NYC (from here they go to wherever they want to go). We both forgot about the holiday on Monday, so I drove myself 290 miles to Boston, MA to pick him up.

Let's put it this way... I was NOT happy to do that.
I love him, but that's one of the things I DID NOT WANT TO DO.

I drove for about 4 1/2 hours.
At one point, there was a slow movement of my car where it took me 45 minutes to drive 0.9 miles. Yup. 45 minutes. There were fixing the highway and it was only one lane, and you have no idea how that helped to my very cranky trip.
On the other hand, Bon Jovi was very suiting for the situation. I heard those CDs the whole way there!

Massachussetts is so beautiful in the fall and I saw great trees and awesome scenery. Unfortunately, my camera was at home. In the drawer!

As you must remember, I was saving $ to buy a Nikon D40.
Well... after a really bad day at work I did what the rich&famous do when they are having a bad day: I went shopping (but i did it online). :)
The camera I was saving for was like $50* in one place, and I got it for $39.99* in other place :) So I was really happy.
* not real price

On Saturday, after we came back from Boston (we stayed there Friday night as I was too tired to drive back to NYC) we went to the Manorhaven beach and we took some photos. I so love that camera!!!! It's the same we bought to go to LA.

As Drea pointed in one of her posts, sometimes having a good camera doesnt mean anything if you don't know how to use it, or how to take pictures, or how to view the pictures in your mind before taking the pictures. If you haven't checked her blog, DO IT! She takes awesome photos and I really enjoy what she writes as well. She does a great job taking pictures.

Because now I have this camera, I've decided to learn a lil bit more about photos and some other stuff. I've taken more than 3,000 in 4 days but only a few are good. Esteban also told me that's what happens when you just start; I guess I'm happy for the good ones I have :)
The tree was the one he liked the most.

Have a wonderful week everybody!
