me. good thanks. U?
Guy: i'm doing great. Thanks. I'm calling to ask you to vote for Mr. X this following Nov 4th. Are you going to vote?
me. No
guy (surprised): how come you're not gonna vote????
me. I'm not American
guy. You're not American?
me. Nope.
guy. Is there anybody in your house who can vote?
me. yes- but they're too small to vote yet.

After this Nicole tells me:
Nicole. I am American, right? Can I vote?
Noe: No Nicole, you have to be like 18 to vote.
Nicole. I don't think I want to vote.
Noe. Why not?
Nicole. I haven't made up my mind yet.
