Post- Boston
Mr. Johnson was reading a book in the heat of the day, when suddenly he felt his eyes were heavy. He decided it was time to rest for a little bit, while the tourists were passing by and taking ridiculous photos in the park.
One of the tourists decided to snap a picture at him.
As soon as the camera went CLICK! the book fell and Mr. Johnson woke up.
It's a hot humid afternoon in the city of Boston, MA. Tourists come and go and the line to get into the Aquarium is HUGE. It's about 3.30pm and people are still trying to get tickets to go into the cruises to see the dolphins, the whales and see the IMAX movie about sharks.
Before getting to the Aquarium there is a fish tank -pretty big- with 4 or 5 of these beautiful animals. They come and go and they're really sweet... Two of them were in front of us for about 1/2 hour while we were taking pictures. They come out and open their mouths and if you touch the glass, they touch the glass with their noses. Sweet.... and a lil sad.
Gary and I stopped to take some pictures at the MSH (Massachusetts State House). It's a lovely house, to tell you the truth. If you've never been to Boston, I tell you... Beautiful place. Not to go on a humid day, though.
Anyway...
We stopped there and we asked a lady to take a picture of us. She immediately asked us, are you tourists? and when we said yes she stepped down like 2 more feet in order to get the whole building. She didnt though, but she did a pretty good job anyways.
While she was taking the picture we realized there was this woman next to me talking.
She was talking to herself... looking at a certain building -which wasn't a church. She kept saying things as if she was praying or something. She was speaking in English, but we couldn't understand what she was saying. May be it was the time of the day for her daily prayers. Who knows?
I have an obsession with clocks.
I love clocks.
Big. Small. Old. New. Black. White. Brown.
CooCoo clocks, electric clocks, weird clocks.
So Boston was a great place to see clocks.
Though it was a very short weekend that I spend with Gary, we had a great time and it'll be until I see him again in 2 months.
