diverticulosis
For the past couple of months I've had a very sharp pain in my groin area. At the beginning I thought it was for something else.
I went to the OB/GYN who did a bunch of tests of me and he told me my ovaries are very healthy, my cervix is fine, my uterus is as healthy as it can be... I'm ok. He told me if the pain continued in the period of the next 6 months I should go again to see him and he'd do different tests.
This weekend that part of my body hurt like never before and I even consider going to the ER coz the pain was insoportable (i dont like the english word, sorry!). G wanted to take me there, and I was like: NO THANKS!
Ya'll who live in the US know how expensive going to the ER can be if you dont have insurance.
Anyways, I had a pretty busy day today, but around 3pm the pain was something that I couldnt stand anymore. I was ready to go to the ER. I also started thinking I had a hernia because the pain was closer to the Inguinal Ligament. In a couple of hours I became a well known doctor... lol!
After talking to my friend Sonia and discussing this topic with her, she recommended me to go to the doctor. Not the ER, but regular doctor. So I called my doctor in Texas and I had an appointment with him over the phone. It was a 1/2 hour appointment on the phone (lol!!!) but it was good enough for him to know that I have diverticulosis or something related with that.
He doesnt know it for sure, but I'm gonna have to take antibiotics for about a week in order to rule that out and if that's not it... then I'm gonna have to go to the doc. And that's not something I really want to do. But the pain is still there and i can't lay down, I can't sit down, I can't walk. I can't do anything! Everything hurts.
I'm going to sleep.
I'm tired and I have a long day ahead of me...
