Nadal vs Federer & my new iPod
It would be just a funny picture: I'm listening my iPod, watching Nadal vs. Federer (i'm not very into tennis, but i like to watch the finals... much more if Nadal is playing - Vamos Nadal!!!) and also checking emails, news and blogs. How funny... how can i do all this at the same time? IDK.
I was reading Tasha's blog and I started thinking about marriage, couples, and all that stuff. The SS this quarter is about couples from the OT. They struggle the same way we struggle and their problems were the same problems we're facing now... lots of years later. One of the things that made me feel good was the fact that God created male and female. One gender complements the other and is incomplete by itself. This combination is necessary for the preservation of society and the continuity of human history.
I want to get married.
I want to have a family... but I wanna be with a guy who loves me and shows me his love with ACTIONS - not only words. It's so easy to say 'i love you dearly' and all that shit guys say either to get inside your pants, or use you.
I just dont understand how can you love a person, tell her that looking into her eyes, hugging her, kissing her... and a week later, for no reason at all, stop talking to her. Weird... ah?
My tests from last week came out well. I dont have anything and I still have to go do the sonogram. Unfortunately, the sonogram is about $500 -as i don't have insurance- and i'm still thinking about doing it. I was telling Andrea yesterday how relunctant i am of spending $500 on a sonogram and then knowing everything is ok. Of course i'll be happy to know i'm ok, but it's a lot of $.
Andrea and I went to NYC yesterday - and i got my iPod. Yeah. I bought the 30GB (black) and last night after we came back i was putting music, downloading videos, and stuff. I really wanted the iPhone... such a beauty.... but oh well... i really dont want to spend $100 a month on my phone bill so i wont get it. besides, some reviews havnt been so great. I still want the fucking thing, and i'll get it may be in 1 or 2 years.
So far Nadal is kicking Federer's ass! Not that i'm a tennis expert, but he's doing a great job. :)
It's gonna be a beautiful day here in PW, and planned on going to the beach here in Sands Point. I dont really feel like going - i hate the beach- but i promised Andrea and being all day inside doesnt seem like a good plan right now. I'm really happy in my bed watching the game, but I gotta get out... i'm inside my house all week... so i need some sun/air. :)
You all have a wonderful Sunday!
Noelia
