ARGENTINA!!!!!
I know it's late and I should be sleeping by now, but I just got home and I've been checking my emails and reading some blogs and stuff... Always some excuse not to go to sleep at the right time.
Anyway, today was the semifinal for Argentina. They were playing Mexico and again, Andrea and I went to the Argentinean restaurant to see the game. We decided not to eat a FULL meal coz we're gonna get extremely fat and we're gonna go broke. So we split it... :( the result? $30... AGAIN.
But i wont complain coz it was fun.... At least i had a lot of fun seeing all the Argentinean papis with their jerseys and singing the Argentinean songs and stuff. The funny part of this game was a couple of Argentinean Jewish guys.
They were dressed in their Jewish thing -white shirt, black pants, black jacket, and the black thing on their head- both had glasses and they spoke perfect portenio spanish (for those of you who don't know about ARG accents, you usually can tell when a person is from New York or California or Louisiana... same happens with people who are from Capital Federal and the rest of ARgentina).
One of the guys was screaming at the referee and shouting at the players, and he was about to get in trouble with the owner of the restaurant. He was yelling as if the referee could hear him, so we started to shout at him: call the referee on the phone! send him a txt message! he can't hear you!!!
he was shouting the goals and everything like he was in the place where the game was taking place. THat's the Argentinean spirit!!! Carajo!
Thanks to Tasha for naming me a Princess :) That was so sweet of her!!!!
I never really thought i was a princess... but when we go to the swimming pool, i'm the queen of the swimming pool :) Things we do for the kids...
And though this silly/stupid guy hasnt (yet) made up his mind about his future with me, one thing is certain FOR SURE: he does love me. I wish he would put his words into actions, but i do know he loves me.
I gotta go take a shower before going nite nite.
peace out!
