Weekend in Texas - just 16 days for my bday

I went to TX this weekend to celebrate Kevin's bday and also hang out with my friends for a lil while. My plane got there 20 minutes earlier and Sonia and I went to her house -which she bought not long ago- and then we went to church. There was something going on at the Keene Spanish SDA Church so we went there. I saw Caro, ESTeban, Mariela and some other people i know, but we didnt stay at the church.

We all headed to Lorena's house as they were gonna celebrate Kevin's bday. We found out Norma & Abuelita were going there... NOT FUN. but oh well... whatever. Veronica, Gustavo and Thiago were there too. What a cute baby!!! he does look like Gustavo! Estela went without Rene, but we all had fun there... Johanna called me from California and we talked for like 1/2 hour. i wish i had more time to talk to her. I might call her during the week.

After lunch we went to the Botanic Garden. i was so tired that i fell sleep. I've been sleeping really badly lately, so i needed some rest. After that, we took all these pictures and then we decided to go to Chilli's. Yum!!!

I went to sleep at 1am EST and the fucking birds woke me up. I have ALWAYS hated the fucking birds in the morning. ALWAYS. i can't stand them. i love God's creation, but i hate the birds waking me up. sorry. Anyway, i did nothing on Sunday. just planned my bday -which is NOT gonna be what i wanted. nothing is what i want in my life. so i think i have to get used to that.

I saw all my pictures, and i finally found my DVD remote control. I was happy about that though. At last i have it! i brought my DVD player in december, but the remote was in Sonia's house with the rest of my stuff... i wish i had a place of my own.

We saw 2 movies at Sonia's house and we had lunch togehter there. SHe cooked something really YUMMY and we talked and talked and talked. mostly about love/sex/life/religion/parenting and all that. Not in the order i mentioned it, but we talked about everything. Esteban came for a little while -i was sleeping....- but it was nice to see him again and just know he was there.

Though it was a short trip I really needed some 'texas' for at least a day. As ya'll know my weekends are really short and for those who wonder how long i stayed there, i was in texas for only 30 hours. My plane got delayed -again- so i arrived in NY at almost 1am. It's getting tiring to do this every weekend.

Next weekend i'll be in NY but i'll be flying to TX on Sunday night. Finally some VACATION! I can't wait to be off for a week.

i know for some people going to see my friends in TExas is really boring. We didnt go out, we just chilled out together and had fun our way. I dont need to go here or there to have fun with them. They're my friends... people i do love and care about. They're my 'cables a la tierra' and i love each one of them. We're all different... we dont agree in many things, we fight at conversations, we argue, we laugh and we also cry together. but we're friends. i know that whatever happens in my life they will always be there for me. i dont think they support all the things i do with my life, but they're still there for me.
