The Christmas story

As most of you know, I was gonna go to Texas for Christmas.
I got a free plane ticket in July when my flight from EWR-DFW was cancelled, so I was going to take advantage of that and go to TX for Christmas.
Anyways my plans changed when I got to the airport.
The funny thing is that I don't have a car at the moment (I have to pay $900 to get my car back...) and I took the train to Flushing, Queens. When I get there I realized there's no TAXIS around. OMG! Luckily, Esteban was online so he helped me find a taxi aroudn there.
When I got to the airport it looked as if a person had stepped into an ant's colony. People EVERYWHERE!
This was my schedule:
from LGA (NY) to ODR (Chicago) - 5pm
from ODR to DFW (Texas) - 7.55pm

My 1st flight got delayed to 5.15pm, then to 5.45pm, then to 6.05pm, then to 6.15pm
and by that time I knew I was gonna miss my connection in ORD. I went to talk to the agent and she told me: you’re not going to make it in time to get the ODR-DFW flight. You can go tomorrow in stand-by (that means they don’t assign you a seat, so you have 50% change of going and 50% chance of not going – which in this case, Christmas weekend, meant NOT GOING) or we can give you a voucher.
I got the voucher coz I wasn’t gonna stay all day long in the airport trying to get a flight to go to TX.
So my boss went to pick me up at LGA (airport) and I came back home to spend Christmas all alone, coz the family I work for is Jewish so they celebrated they holidays already.

We were gonna go to CT on Saturday, but Ryan woke up extremly sick. Something wrong with his teeth. He was like 104.5 or so. He went to the doctor... we didn't go to CT... we ended up staying home. I went to the bank (my account was NEGATIVE!) and that sucks. :(

Anyway, I talked to my mom, Sonia, Milca left a message, Dina called me from ATL and my aunt left a message for me on the cell.

Christmas in our hearts, I guess. I just miss my friends. All of them.
